Our directory is already one of the largest and best organized on the web, but we want to list EVERY party, wedding and event vendor in the United States. So we need your help. Site Description

party-wedding.info is a national directory of party, wedding and event vendors. It was created to fill what we thought was a void of straight forward, easy to navigate vendor directories. The home page is a list of the major city directories. It can be expanded to show all the directories throughout the nation. There is also an interactive map that can be used to zero in on the local area of your choice.

Each city directory consists of 26 vendor categories listed in the left column. In each category page is a list of the vendors in that category along with Google and Affiliate ads. The list of vendors is in the center of the page. Where a vendors listing appears depends on the listing they chose as well as other factors like their location and alphabetical order. Here are the types of listings that vendors can choose from:

1. Premier Listing - Our top tiered listing high-lighted in yellow. Includes three rows of information, is placed above all other listings and is by far the most eye-catching.
2. Value Listing - Includes two rows of information with a white background and is placed just below Premier Listings.
3. Basic Listings - Includes one row of info and has a grey background. There are 3 sub-categories:
   • Basic - Shows vendors business name, location, phone number and a website link.
   • BasicLX - Same as Basic, but vendors name is high-lighted and bold so it sticks out better.
   • Basic + info - Same as Basic, but with a link to an "info" page where much more information about the vendors services can be described.

There are other sections of the website, but the vendor listing pages are the meat of it. This directory was created with an emphasis on "keeping it simple" and Search Engine Optimization. Even the domain (party + wedding + info) was chosen to help our placement in search engines. We get over a million views each year and climbing fast. Most of them are brides, grooms or other looking for wedding and event services. Our problem is that the target audience we're selling to (event vendors themselves) aren't looking for our site. This is where you come in.

Sales Affiliates

Physical Requirements:

• Must be located in the United States.
• Must have a phone and be able to give your phone number to clients.
• Must have a computer and broadband internet service.

Required Experience:

• Phone sales experience.
• Cold calling experience.
• Computer experience - spreadsheets, browser, internet.
• Must be motivated, self-starter.

Detailed Job Description:

This opportunity is for an independent contractor that will sell our listings. You will work for yourself and will be paid on 100% commission with no cap or limit. Our customers are party, wedding and event vendors. For example, businesses like caterers, photographers, wedding planners, party rentals and more. You will prospect the internet, find event vendors and contact them via phone and email. Then you will sell them listings in our directory and make money.

Once a sale has been made you will submit the order via the online forms. All order submissions made through your order forms will be credited to you.

Your form submissions will be received by us. We then will create an invoice and email it to the customer. Your sale will be logged onto an online spreadsheet that only you and our support team will have access to. Click here to see an example of the spreadsheet. Once the customer completes payment, the listing will be published and the status of the sale will change from "pending" to "closed".

All sales that close by end of day on Friday will be paid the following week. Checks will be mailed Tuesday so you should receive it by the following Friday at the latest. At some point we will probably switch it to direct deposit to speed up the process. Sales that do not close by Friday will be moved to the following weeks spreadsheet to await close.

Your compensation will be 50% of the retail sale price. So, for example, if you sell a Premier Listing for $200 then your compensation will be $100.

Product training material and sales tips will be provided. This opportunity is open to anyone, but we prefer those with previous sales experience as we will not be providing sales training. Our listings are easy to learn and you can be up and running very quickly. This is a very stream-lined and efficient business model. The listings do sell as vendors generally like the directory and want to be included in it. They just need someone to show it to them. You will be an independent contractor which means in essence you will be working for yourself. How much you sell and how much money you make will depend entirely on how much effort you put into it. Your expenses are just that...your expenses. I recommend that you have a calling plan that can accomodate your usage or set up a Google Voice account so you can not only make free unlimited calls, but also so you can have a separate phone number for this business venture and visual voice mail on your computer. The relationship will be day-to-day and either party may terminate the relationship at any time and for any reason. You'll have the freedom to work when you want and where you want. There will be no meetings, conference calls or micro-managing. Just sell and make money.

We send warm leads to those Affiliates that are performing well and closing the most sales. Our best performing Affiliates will be offered their own territory. This means that your contact information would be added to our website and warm leads would come directly to you.
